Leaving on a Jet Plane

Wedding number two holds a special place in Beyond Bridesmaids’ heart, as it was the wedding of one of Beyond Bridesmaid’s sister. The week leading up to the big day was filled with family and friends trickling in from all over the globe. As the MOH, I lived to the serve the bride. It couldn’t have been an easier task as she was the most relaxed low maintenance bride on the Island.

While this was a hometown wedding for me the rest of the bridesmaids were out-of-towners, in a big way… Those of us on “the circuit”  know that travel is just part of the gig. Counting frequent flyer miles, days off and stalking air travel websites are second nature. So we raise a very large glass of champagne, maybe the entire bottle, for this group traveling from Trieste, Italy, London, England, Boston, New York, Des Moines, Jackson Hole, and San Francisco to a tiny island in South Carolina.

The wedding weekend would not have been complete without them!
