Soooooo…we are not trying to give away our age (because we are ladies), but these days there are not a lot of single people at weddings. Weddings in the old days, immediately after college, were wild. Sparks flew, inhibitions were low and booze was flowing…so inevitably, Saturday and Sunday morning recaps were CLASSIC! “I snagged a groomsman”, “OMG, the grooms college roommate is dreamy”, “I had a stand up make out with the best man in the coat closet”, or even “I threw my Spanx in the trashcan” (Mom/Dad, this was not us) were all normal headlines!!!

Single guys and gals flocked, alongside our married friends, to Long Island for a big weekend. Maybe it was the beach wedding locale, the signature Southsides or Dark & Stormy’s begin passed around, or the hot beats Party on The Moon kept playing? Credit could also be giving the the comfortable J. Crew Bridesmaids dresses worn in a variety of styles or the buckets of flip flops provided to keep the party dancing. Whatever it was, our final stop on our Wedding Roadie was like a trip back in time…

Now Beyond Bridesmaids is no Gossip Girl… and are not one to kiss and tell!! BUT, we can confirm there were good times.

Our string of 6 weddings in a row maybe over but the wedding season is just kicking in to high gear. Stick around! The next champagne flute is never too far away!
