If you have the option to suggest "everyone buys their own dress", we can't stress enough the how perfect Rent the Runway can be. Save some cash and be done with it! The one gamble is knowing your size. If you don’t, head to a department store to try on the same dress before you place your order. Then pat yourself on the back for getting the designer threads for less than your average alteration bill.

Another option with a zillion fabric and color choices. They also get bonus points for having real maternity options for your expecting friends.
